Thank you so much for your comments and for reposting my blog. I can not get over the difference in my own presentations. Unfortunately, knowing what it takes to make a great program makes me even more critical and less tolerant of bad presentations! :)

One other comment I often receive regarding "Death by PowerPoint" is that many speakers say they prefer to connect directly with their audience, and refuse to use PPT. Knowing NLP, which teaches us that we relate primarily thru one of our three communication-based senses, either visual, auditory or kinesthetic, doing a great PPT means you will be better able to hit those sensory targets on everyone in your audience, through a great presentation and fabulous photos that evoke feeling and that are visually stimulating. It's the whole package!
